Well, being diabetic, I have foresworn all starch and sugar, ala Adkins.
I eat MEAT and veggies and have lost about 40 pounds in a year. I went
from being stuffed into a size 42 waist to less than 36, but not yet 34.
My cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass to fat are dead on, almost
lower than normal. It's the bread, rice, potatoes and sugars that knock
us out, at least to my perceptions. I might take a insulin shot once a
week now because I had to have those Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, The shot
is a small price to pay for a Reeses! Ric
