In German, oddly enough, the expression doesn't care if the subject is 
singular or plural. masculine or feminine:
"Es lebe die Irren."

study and experience is a "weirdo."
Every time I hear "in my personal opinion" prefacing a statement I turn 
off my receiver.  Any opinion is "personal"; what I want to hear is a 
"professional opinion."
