I've used Toshiba laptops for years with everything from COL to RH 7.x,
8.x to SuSE 9.1 and, currently, SuSE 9.3 on a Satellite 1135-S155 and
had next to no problems (no hardware problems, anyhow). I've nothing
bad to say about them in this application. As for the price, well, I
don't know the model you're looking at, but I guess it comes down to
what the finished product is worth to you and whether or not you can
achieve the same results more cheaply elsewhere.
