[ubuntu] upgrade from 5.04 to 5.10

(remember I use Kubuntu)

* Everything is a bit cleaner.
* Kontact/KMAIL is able to use IMAP to store contacts, journal, todos... (it
works now)
* Further iterations of automounting using ivman (part of kde) to automount
media found by udev and identified by hal/dbus.
* Installing on RAID and LVM devices now works
* Software Suspend works out of the box.
* OOo 2.0
* KDE 3.4.3
* Kernel 2.6.12
* Remote Places works now, as does the SMB login from Konqueror
* KsysV
* VMware, while more difficult to get running (the kernel changed some stuff),
no longer requires a vmware-config.pl all the time (my experience on Hoary).

Bunch more. The initial selection I think is even better than before,
although I still install Synaptic and Gnome-System-Tools for network profile
configuration.

Bad note: Atheros wlan driver and Cisco's VPN client cause hard-crash when
network connectivity is lost while the vpn is up. I'm back to using Orinoco
and Cisco 350 cards.
