Ain't it great that you have a choice?  For historical reasons, I have 
little desire to even give RH another try.  SuSE and Gentoo are more 
than good enough.  I believe that I run on significantly different 
hardware and with different purposes in mind.

For me, the whole point of the discussion is that we get choices.  If we 
have problems, there is a slightly different distro to try.  And trying 
something new costs very little (beyond time).

What I get out of the comments made is:  If I am running top end 
equipment or running servers and server related tasks, Don't put SuSE at 
the top of the list to try.  Fair enough.  There are still choices.
