samba woes

At work, i've been mounting a few SMB shares on my Linux box without any
problems for the past 6 weeks.  Due to employer mandated password changes,
I had to change my windoze password today, and ever since doing so, all
the samba shares fail to mount:
4892: session setup failed: ERRDOS - 86
SMB connection failed
4893: session setup failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password -
name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.)
SMB connection failed
4894: session setup failed: ERRDOS - 86
SMB connection failed

I'm using a credentials file to store the username & password, and I did
update it to the new password, but that isn't helping.  Going back to the
old pasword isn't helping either.

The new password is working elsewhere (email, etc).  Anyone have any
ideas?
