ASUS produce pretty good boards, but not always standard.  In some 
cases, linux will not work well due to incomplete implementation of some 
part of the board (NIC, sound, etc).  If you run into problems, ASUS is 
usually linux hostile.  If it works on Windoze, that is all that 
matters.  (Meaning M$ has added code in the drivers to compensate for 
hardware not implemented.)  Research carefully.
