I have been with Asus for some long time and the 32bit A7N8X series I 
had was a great board with the NVidia chipset. I did change to a Via for
some esoteric reason that I now forget, only to regret the change and 
put back the Asus. A few months ago I decided that I would go 64bit as 
that seemed to be the trend, bought an Msi K8N Neo2 Platinum 939 MB 
Nvidia, because that was the best board according to all the blurb. 
However now Asus have outdone them with an Nvidia4 Mb and cheaper, so I 
will shortly have a Msi for sale :)
