Perhaps, but even tho I'm the one closest to it, I'm not sure what to 
conclude. On the one hand I'm unhappy about the boot-up check fibbing 
about all being well. OTOH, the filesystem survived a catastrophic event 
and my subsequent fumbling to fix it and all it took to get it back up 
to full production was 2 simple commands.

There is a line of thinking that goes: "It's not whether bad things 
happen, because they will - it's how you handle it."
