Those types of responses come up now and then. We all have a bad day. 
I've learned to ignore. Your questions are good ones.

It's amazing how easily email can be misinterpreted. I've been firmly 
told off for giving what I assumed was a helpful answer, only to find 
that I totally insulted the questioner. I don't take it personally.
Now I'm going back to searching 900 pages of irrelevant documentation! :-)
I'll talk to you when I'm worthy! ;-)
