Kernel 2.6.10 and SCSI

Hi Lonni,

When you described your problems with the Symbios SCSI controller and 
kernel 2.6.10, were you using a custom compiled kernel or the update 
from RedHat/Fedora? The reason I ask is because I'm using an Adaptec 
SCSI controller and I'm wondering whether to upgrade my kernel or not. I 
recently had to re-install FC3 because the Nvidia rpm package I 
installed caused my system to perpetually display the Nvidia logo 
screen, and I don't want to go through that pain again.

BTW, did you manage to solve that problem?
