The insane release schedule is a problem, and what's finally pushing me
away from rh/fedora. Sure, I've happily used FC2 since just after its
release, but I'm growing weary of it. Hell, it seems FC3 was just
released and they're almost ready to push out FC4 betas already (March
21 is what I've read). And once that's done, FC2 support will move to
fedoralegacy to wither and be forgotten.

FWIW, I just installed debian sarge on what will become my home server,
and the install was very easy, apt (the real apt, not the apt front-end
to rpm) is lightening fast compared to what I've grown used to with FC2.
I still have some configuration to do, and some re-learning how to do
tasks on debian vs. rh/fedora, to prepare the server for general use,
but I'm already sold on debian. And installing debian has given me
reason to reconsider whether I want to continue down the fedora path any
further with my desktop system(s).

Regards,
Tim
