Thanks Brad, Kurt, Bill, Bruce, and Al.
Turns out Bill was right (Brad too). Holding down the F1 key gave me
what I was after. And now, with a whopping 300MHz, 228MB, 19.8G, we are
running Ubuntu. Pretty nice. I think I have a memory issue to be
found. I'm hoping it's with the 64MB module, not the 128MB one. (and
since those add up to 228, definitely not the internal memory).
I've had a kernel oops on boot up a couple times, and the memory
diagnostic built into the BIOS hangs hard. Oddly enough, Once past
loading the kernel, I'm not seeing too much weirdness (yet). This
installed and updated on a network with 4 DS3's to the Internet rather
quickly I might add. Poor "archive.ubuntu.com". Talk about collapsing
their straw shut ;)
