OK, got you now. You're right it's one of their management speak things that don't mean a whole lot to tech types.
Umm. There are several ways companies provide access to internal citrix server farms.
One way is to use a simple VPN client and then launch your Citrix Client and connect directly to the Citrix Server Farm.
Another way is using what is known as a Citrix Secure Gateway which is basically a webserver which provides an ssl login and publishes the available servers/applications to internet clients. Your browser then launches the Citrix Client and passes it all the necessary information needed to connect to whatever you choose.
