Citrix, anyone?

Isn't that the name of a Citrix product? At least it is listed on the
Citrix web site. But then again, that is a jargon filled concept place
without real details. At least to a tech-type. So maybe it is a concept
and not a specific product. Hard to tell.
I was at our new owner's IT department and they were saying that to
access some internal system resources from outside, one would need
citrix. I just downloaded the Linux client and can start it from a KDE
icon. But there my knowledge stops. I am going to get a license. I do
know that to access the economy stuff in the company (time reports -
yech!) from the road, I will have to sort this out. And I want to make
sure I provide no reasons to have to use Windows when on the road!
