That could be. It's interesting that I usually find ftp.suse.com, and some of
the US mirrors considerably slower than ftp.gwdg.de.

Yup. I didn't really experience any serious problems, although YMMV. I've been
debating installing it on my main machine at home, but I may just wait for the
SuSE 9.2 update.
