KDE 3.2/3.3 and SUSE 9.0

Generally if the package is supplied by the distribution maintainers 
then they have done the tweaking as per the original package... for 
example on Redhat they had configuration directories named applnk-redhat 
instead of applnk as per the original kde. I found that I had to copy 
the contents of some of the redhat specific directories into the new 
'default' kde locations to get back some redhatish stuff. However it 
wasn't always successful. Sigh... if only one could be expert at everything.

In the end I went to xfce4 because it was far trimmer than kde and I 
only needed one or two menu items....
