First try at NFS

Thanks Kurt and Collins

"rpcinfo -p" on the laptop only listed portmapper. I restarted nfs (via
Mandrake Control Center) and then rpcinfo -p listed portmapper, nfs,
nlockmgr and mountd.

After that I was able to mount the remote directory as root using
"mount <desktop>:/home/ian/Shared /home/ian/Shared"

That was with firewalls off.

Konqueror gives an authentication error
"Authorization failed, <desktop> authentication not supported"

Mandrake Control Center's "NFS mount points" thing just remains blank
when I click "search new servers".

I'm a step closer though!

cheers,
IanS
