gnome takes over kde

Hi all.

Got me a humdinger here.

I was using grip and clicked on a help item. It open nautilus and when it
did, gnome took over my kde desktop. I still have the kde taskbar along the
bottom though and get the kde start menu items.

I logged out and back in, it shows kde starting up and I see my kde desktop
then BOOM the gnome desktop comes over top of it.

Goggle got me a suse list that had a fix in it, but it musta been for an older
version of gnome because the options are not longer under Edit->preferences
in nautilus. The fix was open Nautilus, Go to Edit>Preferences and then
choose the Desktop & Trash option. Deselect "Use Nautilus to draw your
desktop"

I also tried deleting all references to gnome in my home directory but that
didn't work either unless I over looked something.

System is running Libranet 2.8.1 w/ kde 3.1

 Any help appreciated.
