I did look in the /etc/sysconfig, however there was nothing that I could "see"
that I could stick a finger on. However, Lonnie, I am nowadays way behind the
8 ball with tracing problems. The new Distros are sooooo convoluted.
More to the point though what I said re /sbin/ifup did not work this morning
after a shutdown. I guess that my /sbin/ifdown plus an ifup was fantasy.
