Yes - Crossover Office works fine. I've used it in a couple of cases as a generic wine substitute using the wine command line interface. It is an enhanced wine installation in any case.

Others will probably have a different view, but I always found getting
wine to actually work to be a near impossible task - for 3rd degree
gurus only.
Download a demo of Crossover Office is the best way.
