To say that I've been disappointed by HP's support for Linux would be like
saying Jeff Dahmer had in eating disorder. I've had problems with their
scanners and inkjet printers (but my HP 4M Plus just keeps on truckin'). I
finally gave up on my HP Photosmart 7350 and an HP SCSI scanner, and put
them on my Apple G4 running OS X.

I have had excellent results with Epson printers and scanners with Linux.

On the other hand, I've found that most things that try to do a bit of
everything generally don't do any of them very well.

We do all our faxing with HylaFAX and Multitech external modems.

If the Democrats had wanted Gore to be president, they should have
voted for impeachment.
