Turns out we bought another APE and used it as a bridge.  And 
eventually, as I learn a little more about this wireless stuff and how 
to add an 802.11b driver to my kernel, I'll get a PCI wireless card.

Yes, we found one with gobs of signal that is cheaper than the Apple 
antenna!
