does anyone know where the Foomatic-hpijs drivers are stored or how to build one.
 I have the HP4v.ppd, HPijs.xml foomatic, foomatic-db, foomatic-db-engine & gimp print
 installed. Gentoo system

 1. lp fails to print /etc/hostname is RickSivernell

 RickSivernell rick $ lpr -d 192.168.0.30:4020 RRS_Sig.txt
 Get_local_host: hostname 'RickSivernell' bad
 RickSivernell rick $

 checkpc -f
 RickSivernell cups # checkpc -f
 2004-03-22-15:37:23.381 Get_local_host: hostname 'RickSivernell' bad
 RickSivernell cups #

 2. Using cups, latest version & samba, say client-error, that is all I can find
 /var/logMessages:
 Mar 22 15:13:02 RickSivernell nmbd[1351]: process_browse_packet: Discarding
datagram from IP 192.168.0.60. Source name RICKSIVERNELL<00> is one of our names !

 3. KDE print from control panel:
 could not make driver hp4v_foomatic.hpijs
reinstalled all of foomatic(s), cups, lprng hpijsj
The hpijs.xml file is in its proper location as per linuxprinting.org

I have gone thru everything I know, can not get anything to print, once before it
did.

 Any suggestions will be appreciated/
