mozilla 1.7b hosed fonts

Greetings,
I just upgraded to Mozilla-1.7b from 1.6.  Its noticably faster, however 
all of my fonts are now hosed.  By hosed, I mean the size of them is 
completed different than they used to be.  They're all much much smaller 
for no apparent reason.  I've managed to get everything tweaked back to 
the way it was except for the fonts in the mail/news client.

In the mail/news client the fonts are still way the hell too small, and 
they're all showing up in bold.  I don't mean the fonts of the messages, 
but the fonts of everything else (message lists, etc).  Does anyone know 
where this is controlled?  It doesn't look like I can tweak these fonts 
from anywhere in the menu of preferences.
