I get this when printing to kde print to pdf option

gs -q -dSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite
-sOutputFile=$out{/home/jamesm/print.pdf} -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -c .setpdfwrite
-f '/tmp/AcroQHG3Hc' : execution failed with message:

Ghostscript 7.0 : Unrecoverable error, exit code 1

If I print to my cups-pdf printer it errors out also.

When I print to a ps file from within acroread it works. and printing
the resultant ps file to a pdf printer works

I am using acrobat 5.0.8 (it says 5.05 on the splash but the fine print
says 5.08)
