While I agree in principle, in reality it won't happen.  Look at the
results from 2000 when Nader got a significant chunk of the vote.  Did
anything change?  Or go back even further to 1992 when Perot got a nice
chunk of the vote.  Nothing changed.

Combined with lack of awareness.  People vote for what is familiar.  How
many US residents on this list can name the Green or Natural Law party
candidates for president without doing some research?
