old yes. good? i never found it to be all that great. 2.4 was a diamond

Redhat (nee Fedora) only ships XFree86. If you want 3rd party drivers,
you're on your own. I'm pretty sure that RH falls back to the crappy VESA
driver when it can't figure out what else to use. IN other words, your
videocard is unsupported.
