Some non-free options I'm considering (but haven't actually tried yet:)
http://www.radmin.com/
and
http://www.remoteadministrator.com/
The first is less expensive, but doesn't have a linux version, although
they claim it runs under WineX. The second explicitly claims to have a
linux version.
I suspect that TightVNC would work, though I've heard that it's a PITA
to configure...
If your boxen have Terminal Services enabled, perhaps rdesktop would work.
