Remote X session (WinXP -> Fedora Core 1)

I have a similar requirement that I hope someone can clarify for me.

I am in need of being able to remotely operate a few WinBoxen, ie, XP, NT4,
NT3.51, 98 etc, from a Linux (Slack 9.1-current) box.

Would Tight VNC be usable for this?
