xawtv: Recording movies

Hi Joel,

You have enough horsepower to stream the data to disk? If not, have a gander 
at the dma setting of the harddrive via hdparm and if nothing else, raise the 
priority of the application you sue via the nice command. I've got an old 
Hauppaug WinTV Go card that works with a cable sgnal or s-video from my sat. 
receiver... No drop outs, just very little disk space... :').
