My state, North Carolina, supposedly has a US senator.  He has been 
running for president ever since he was elected - to the senate.  Last 
week, as usual, he was absent from the important highway funding bill vote.

This guy is clever.  If he is nominated, no one will be able to 
criticize his senate voting record, because he doesn't have one!
No wonder people outside of North Carolina are so entranced by him.
