First of all, my apologies for "spamming" the list.  My first post was 
cut off when my dial-up connection died midway in the upload.   By the 
time I was able to reconnect and  send my reply to Andrew Gould's  
e-mail I was  p----d off and hit "reply all" by mistake.

I thought this was too good an opportunity to let the local modem 
warehouse mess up.

I bought Libranet 1.9 for  $39.95.  Two weeks later Lib 1.9.1 was 
released.  Boy was I p-----d, but Libranet gives  a decent discount to 
previous buyers.  Lib 1.9.1 was superb, one of those "got everything 
right" distro's that belongs in the pantheon along with eDesk 2.4.  I've 
been hooked on Libranet ever since.  Since there is discussion on this 
list from time to time about Libranet, I suggested to Jon and Tal at 
Libranet offering a special deal for this list.  The reply came back 
within an hour.
Of course, if you are flush, you can always pay full tariff :-)
