"RFS" = "root file system" At work, we do work on embedded targets
by mounting their RFS over NFS for development and testing purposes.
They are usually deployed by storing the RFS in flash or an initrd
in the kernel image. We usually boot them using DHCP and a kernel
image, too, but, again, when the boards are actually deployed, the
kernel image is on the device.

I wish that they would sell it.
It never does quite what I want
But only what I tell it.
