I've got a SONY DVD RW DRU-500A that works great!  The Sony DVD burners come 
with 8MB buffer as opposed to the 2MB buffers in other burners.  (I'm not 
sure that matters; but it sounds good.)

Best Buy and some other retailers had these on clearance during the Christmas 
shopping season; so you may be able to find some cheap.
