Stay the course. Those currently affected by the current problem are either
(like me) reading it someplace else, reading in through the archives (as I
found I could do from home this weekend), or not paying attention right now.
Don't make a change that will drop currently active members.
As one who can't sign up at home, I've found two ways around this. But why
force new people to find alternate solutions until the DNS folks catch up?
Make the change clean and smooth. No sense emulating M$!
