.forward: An easy tip

Who would have thought life could be so easy with anything
that involves sendmail? This letter involves sendmail
and fetchmail.

My daughter has an email account at comcast, and at aol.

She has always used the comcast one for most of her mail,
in part because it has a nicer sounding full name without
numbers.

I fetchmail her mail from comcast to our home computer
and she reads it with netscape in linux. Works find.

Now, she has moved, and only has access to aol. So, how
to get her comcast mail to her?

A very easy solution was just to put this into .forward
in her home directory:

user at aol.com

You don't even have to restart sendmail, I don't think.

I was expecting to have to edit .procmailrc. I pass this
along because I am not really sure where this info is
listed. I found it in the sendmail book (the Bat book). I
guess that's why they call it the .forward file.
