Actually, I used gimp for about 2 years before I ever touched photoshop.
But, thanks to my gimp background and the ease of use of photoshop,
in about 30 minutes I was up and running on photoshop. Of course, I
have picked up tricks in the last several months on using photoshop,
and have become reluctant to use gimp. Again, ease of use.
