What gives has the list server gone belly up?

Ok, I totally agree BUT! if the list is lagging and we are many old mates 
here, maybe we could
relax the so called rules a bit. Encourage a bit more <ot> than has been 
acceptable. Not that
this list has been that hard on people really. Thinking back, the list has 
enjoyed a lot longer life
than most expected at the begining. Caldera waned and eventually 
disappeared, who would have
forecast that event. Then the buy out and the present debacle although we 
are not involved, thank
god. Last but by not least is the fact that many have learnt from an 
excellent SxS, quite an acheivement
in my book.
