Question

  When I select a new font fro my system or some application, most of the time I
get square boxes for representing the charactors and forced to change to
helviticia or some such font. I have the xfs server started t.d at boot ( I
believe that is the x font server). What do I need to do to fix tis. Using XFree
4.3 on Gentoo r5 LK 2.4.20.
