Slackware 9.0 and scsi problem

Pascal,

	Actually, the adaptec.s boot disk is the one I tried first.  I 
cannot boot from my scsi cd-rom, so I need to use the boot and root 
diskettes.  The adaptec boot diskette is supposed to support aic7xxx 
but no scsi hard disk and scsi cd-rom are detected nor is the scsi 
adapter itself detected.
