Slackware 9.0 and scsi problem

Hi John :

I think you need to use the adaptec kernel. I can't remember the boot 
prompt parameters, but you need to load adaptec.s, with no additional 
switches, etc. I'm using an Adaptec 29160, and after my nightmare 
installation with Slackware 8, I gave up. My SCSI card was eventually 
recognized, but my network card (which is a 3COM !) could not "see" the 
network. Never figured out what the problem was.
