Anyone else using Enigmail for GNUPG support in Mozilla?

I tried the precompiled xpi's but they failed I had to
untar the packages enigmail and ipc in the $MOZILLA_SOURCE/extensions
followed the instructions on the website and created two xpi files which
then I installed.
Suppose it's come along way from ~6 months though Linux/Mozilla is
moving vfast at moment.
