I am looking to move to Debian/Debian-based system. I like my RH7.3
fine but their new release cycle is awful fast and RPM's are grinding on
me. Even w/ apt for rpm installed they repositories aren't kept very up
to date.

I am just trying to pick which one. Right now I'm leaning to a Knoppix
HD install.. Libranet seems great but I can nary afford to part with
$50 for a distro at this point. I have 1.9 but I am not sure how well
apt-get would update it to a current release. Debian it self has 7 cd's
to download and burn. The wife already complains I spend to much time
on the computer :-).
