2.5.x kernel questions

Make sure you go through the Documentation/Changes file that comes with the
kernel source. There are a fair number of programs that have to be upgraded
and/or replaced (modutils is one, xfsutils is another) and the URL's are
there. I'm surprised you didn't get more in the way of outright failures,
really. So many things have changed.
