Gnucash: Opinions please

Yes, gnome is required, version 1.4, gnome 2 will not work. Work is 
starting on a gnome 2 port within gnucash, but it isn't very far along. 
I don't even think it'll compile, yet. A separate project (kuickmoney) 
has been started to create a KDE3 front-end to the gnucash engine, but 
it's a one-man operation so far.

What version of gnucash are you trying to compile?
What platform?
What is the error output of the attempt to compile g-wrap?
