debian package for ImageMagick

I'd like to get the most recent version of ImageMagick and get it
installed properly. I want to see if that will solve my problem of not
getting big fonts into images.

Unfortunately, the most recent version configured and survived make on
my caldera 2.4 box  but would not install. I never figure out that sort
of problem, (a missing library, or wrong path,  or some such, but there
is no end to that quest once you start.)

Anyway, is there a debian package for ImageMagick?

I tried adminmenu but couldn't find anything.
