Arrows in gimp

Thank you. This works nicely. You also have to paint the arrow
head with the paint can three time to get the thing uniformly black. To do
this, I had to make the image large enuf to paint inside the arrow head,
but, it WORKS.
Now, is there a way to rotate the arrow head 45 degree?
