Kernel 2.4.19 + preempt + lock break

Hi,

I'm trying to patch kernel 2.4.19 with lock-break-rml-2.4.18-1.patch (after 
applying the preempt patch) but I get two failed chunks (in fs/buffer.c).

One of the chunks appears to be already in the 2.4.19 code. Regarding the 
second, it appears that the code has changed too much.

I can apply the changes manually, but as I don't even know how the code works 
and what it is supposed to do, I don't think it's a good idea to messi with 
the fs code of the kernel :)

So, the question is: Anyone succeded applying this patch on 2.4.19??
