JavaScript and CGI: General questions

Javascript is controlled by the Scripting section.

I know how to handle that option in opera. But, I am attempting to write
javascript which will be usable by users of IE. If I ever get asked about
why a script doesn't run on IE, I need to know if javascript is simply
turned off.
